  • The only requirement for enrollment is that you are 18 years or older. We have a diverse group of students with many educational backgrounds and interests.

  • Are you looking to become a coach? Do you feel you would like to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives? Do you find that our daily conversations feel flat, and you believe there is so much more value and potential left unexplored? If the answer is YES, we think you will LOVE this program.

  • Both! Our comprehensive curriculum will prepare you to coach 1:1 clients in person and virtually. In addition, we will prepare you to coach groups and run your workshops. You don’t need to worry about taking a separate program to learn how to work with groups.

  • The Holistic Coaching Mastery Program starts two times a year. You can find the schedule for upcoming courses at the Events page of our website. We offer our courses from 4:30-6:30 PM Pacific Standard Time and from 9:00-11:00 AM Pacific Standard Time.

  • Yes, this program is fully online with a combination of weekly Live video classes using the Zoom platform and online learning modules. The video calls create a close-knit community for our students, and online learning gives flexibility in scheduling your independent work.

  • The Coaching Core Competency course is nine weeks and takes about 2-3 months to complete. Advanced Tools and Practicum are each 8 weeks long and taken consecutively after the Core Competency course will take 4-6 months. There may be a break of one or more weeks between courses, depending on the session. You can view the course registration page for specific course dates. Students have 60 days to complete the Healthy Lifestyle Basics and start when they choose. Most students complete the full program in 7-8 months. You will start coaching real clients within the first few weeks of the program.

  • Yes. To become a Wisdom of the Whole® Certified Coach, you must complete all four modules and pass the final knowledge test. The program will also meet and exceed coach training requirements set by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), and American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC).

  • Wisdom of the Whole is designed for busy people. People who work full time, are in school, are parents, or have busy lives. The course is not like a graduate-level class. Students take the course because they are passionate about coaching. They are interested in helping people and intrinsically motivated to learn.

  • Our coaching programs offer you the advantage of a time-tested and validated approach to coaching. Our founder, Dr. Linda Bark, has been a nurse and a coach for over 30 years and has been teaching coaching for 25 years. You will learn solid, research-validated coaching skills with the support and mentoring you need for success. Our programs prepare you to meet the requirements for national certification and offer a holistic and integral perspective. A weekend program may offer a few skills, but coaching competency takes time, support, and practice!

  • Our team can help you navigate the certification requirements for the International Coaching Federation (ICF), National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), or American Holistic Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC). You can hop on a call with one of our Course Information Specialists or check the credentialing organization’s website for more information.

  • Yes, Linda loves to teach and mentor new and experienced coaches.

  • We have a variety of programs and exclusive events just for our alumni. In addition, we are committed to amplifying your online and offline visibility. You will have an opportunity to list your coaching practice on our website. We will offer an opportunity for you to develop your thought leadership and be featured in our blog, podcast, and our live events.

  • We offer Pay-in-Full and six-month payment plans. Most of our students are satisfied with these options. Program Approval INFORMATION

International Coaching Federation (ICF)

Level 1 (60 hours)

The Wisdom of the Whole coaching program is a 60-hour Level 1 accredited ICF education and training program that will meet the coach-specific education requirements for an ICF Credential.

The 30-hour Core Competency, Advanced Tools, and Practicum qualify for 60 ICF contact hours and must all be completed through Wisdom of the Whole in order to meet the coach-specific training requirements. Learners wanting to obtain an ICF credential will also need to complete 10 Mentor Coaching hours through Wisdom of the Whole (included in this offer bundle). Please schedule your Mentor Coaching during the coach training so that you can meet ICF requirements.

National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)

Approved Training Program (75 hours)

The Wisdom of the Whole Coaching Program is an Approved Health and Wellness Coach Training & Education program by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC).

Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for the NBBHWC Certifying Examination to become National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).

To qualify for 75 coach training hours through the NBHWC, the 30-Hour Core Competency, Advanced Tools, Practicum, and Healthy Lifestyle Basics courses must be completed.

American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA)

AHNA Endorsed Program (90 hours)

This program has been peer-reviewed and is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association.

Nurse Contact Hours (90 hours)
