This 4-month, 7-hour Specialty Course is taught by Dr. Linda Bark, PhD, RN, MCC, NC-BC, NBC-HWC, and is available approximately three times per year.

Course Details

Coaches will meet four times over four months for two hours via Zoom Video Conferencing. See the dates below. At the beginning of the program, Dr. Bark will ask for your learning goals, then design the course around the goals of all students so that you can accomplish your desired skill building and reach your next level of coaching mastery. The classes are interactive, inspiring, and fun and offer the gentle support and feedback customary to the Wisdom of the Whole culture. We also highly recommend out-of-class practice sessions with a classmate to help further develop skills.

Are you an ICF, NBC-HWC Certified Coach, or a Nurse Coach Looking to Improve Your Skillset?

ICF coaches, this program will help you fulfill mentoring requirements for ICF certification and hone your coaching skills. Are you a certified NBC-HWC? Get 7 hours of Continuing Education and enhance your skill set during this interactive course that fits into the busiest schedules! For nurses, any practice hours completed during this course can be counted towards the required 60 supervised practice hours that you submit to AHNCC for the Nurse Coach exam application.

Meet Your Mentor

Dr. Linda Bark

Dr. Linda Bark, PhD, RN, MCC, NC-BC, NBC-HWC has 30 years of experience coaching in private practice and 25 years of training coaches internationally. She has been instrumental in coach certification for Nurse Coaches through the AHNCC and Health and Wellness Coaches through the National Consortium for the Certification of Health and Wellness Coaches.

This program is designed to be experiential. Each session offers an opportunity to observe, do, and discuss coaching, get feedback, and get mentored in alignment with the international professional coaching standards. All coaches get feedback on coaching skills to take their practice to the next level.

Group Coach Mentoring with Dr. Linda Bark, PhD, RN, MCC, NC-BC, NBC-HWC, and accredited faculty, ideal for coaches looking to apply for ICF or Nurse Coach professional coaching certification. The program is open to coaches who want to hone their coaching skills.

✓ Counts as 7 hours of Continuing Education for NBHWC
✓ Nurse Coaches accrue Supervised practice hours
✓ Small groups of up to 10 students
✓ Access to a private WOW Facebook group

Qualifying students will receive an ICF certificate of completion for 7 ICF group mentoring hours. You must attend all classes and complete the course evaluation to receive the full 7 group mentoring hours for this course. Nurses may submit a log of practice hours completed during this course for validation. This course does not offer continuing education hours, only supervision for nurses. This program is approved by the NBHWC for the continuing education and training of National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC). To receive an NBHWC CE certificate, you may miss one class and complete make-up work. Professional students may receive a non-accredited certificate of completion for the hours completed upon request. Cancellation Policy: No refunds on cancellations. Tuition will be held on account for an alternate course.
